Lost Words resource

All over the country, there are words disappearing from children’s lives. These are the words of the natural world- otter, bramble and acorn are all gone. The Lost Words book and this resource aim to use a range of poems by Robert Macfarlane and beautiful illustrations by Jackie Morris to capture the magic of language and nature. The challenge cards help to facilitate the opportunity for children to think about the world around them in lots of interesting and informative ways.
